God Speaks

There is a good amount of questioning about who can hear from God and how often. And I don’t have an answer for every question that flows from that topic, but what I do know is that when God speaks I am attentive to the still small voice in my spirit man that sounds very different than my own voice. He’s gentle but straightforward. Moreover, as my relationship deepens with the Lord, I hear Him more often with answers. Now it comes to mind as I write that in my own personal circumstances I don’t hear Him in my spirit as much as the Word of God seems to be readily available as if it’s waiting in queue for pickup. It’s in an instant and without prompting. However, in this season with a division in the Church over Bible Truth, brother against brother over differences of opinions, and our culture changing rapidly with a voice that’s neither unified or respectful I am asking God the hard questions and He’s answering swiftly.

I wrote God Remains Faithful in November after the general election voting Donald J. Trump and how I held back, but never shared the context of what God had spoken on July 29, 2016. It’s time.

As sure as the sun rises to its going down Trump will be president. It is my will not the people’s. There is fear in the land but he will bring people together. He is not for one group or another but unity.

I am in awe how when watching the inauguration of Donald John Trump our 45th president to find a man who is settled in his heart that this great nation is under God and that his humility lies in the office in which he walks in—the presidency of the United States. The prayers of the women and men of Faith who shared the Word of God and proclaimed Jesus Christ were especially moving as well as the oaths taken by both the President and Vice President. But in all, the protocol of the event, the prayers, introductions, and oaths, it was the scripture President Trump referred to that reverberated in my spirit that confirmed what I heard from God's throne room back in July 2016.

The Bible tells us how good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity. We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable. There should be no fear. We are protected and we will always be protected. We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement. And most importantly, we will be protected by God.

When God speaks we should listen. Read your Holy Bible, which is God-breathed, and be in close relationship with Him. Though the nation may prosper we know not the hour when the thief comes to rob, kill or destroy, so you must be prepared. It will be the difference between life or death, perhaps not only in the body but in your spirit as well. I urge every reader to rededicate their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to walk uprightly and with confidence in His truth.

God bless our great nation under GOD!

America America
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea

Psalm 133
Blessed Unity of the People of God
A Song of Ascents. Of David.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore.
