Warning for The Church: You Who Seek Riches in The Earth

Life Application Study Bible Proverbs 23:4, 5 “We have all heard of people who have won millions of dollars and then lost it all. Even the average person can spend an inheritance – or a paycheck – with lightning speed and have little to show for it. Don’t spend your time chasing fleeting earthly treasures. Instead store up treasure in heaven, for such treasures will never be lost. (See Luke 12:33, 34 for Jesus’ teaching.)”

“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke 12:29-34

Not every house built is for my glory. It’s built with sweat and motivation of men who are self-seeking and looking for promotion. I am weary with the Children of God who are after worldliness and entangle the principles of my Kingdom with it. In the hour they know not the Son of Man will come in the clouds looking for my inheritance in the earth and there will be many left behind. They have left the ancient paths to run after the lust of the eyes and the flesh. They have traded in the ways of the Lord for man’s ways and desires. They have stored up for themselves treasures on earth when their house in my Kingdom is barren, and some yet not built. Their focus is slanted. Their ways jilted. They have forgotten the ancient paths. Still, more will fall away and be lured to finding treasure in the earth while their spiritual house is barren and unkept. Woe to those who have fallen away for it was better for them had they not confessed the faith. I reserve Heaven for those who are holy and obedient to my Spirit.

We know that many of us thank God for His blessings. We have houses in the name of Jesus. We have cars in the name of Jesus. We have jobs in the name of Jesus. We have children too in the name of Jesus. But what about the sacrifice made in the name of Jesus? If you want to know the mettle of a Man or Woman of God, ask them about the sacrifices they’ve made and continue to make for the Lord. Don’t ask them what the Lord has done for them. That’s not where it’s at young Christian. Seek the ancient paths. Put your nose in the Holy Scriptures. Find for yourself those who are much older in the faith to testify of the sacrifices made.

You’ve been taught most likely since day one that our Western culture is about getting. We even preach it from the pulpit, but how does that play out for those who are impoverished and looking for their next bowl of rice or cup of clean water?

The Lord is stirring my heart. There is a gross misrepresentation in our asking to get and what He says.

We are to return to the Lord, fully. Give way to the scriptures, not as a banner in your place of business or that picture that hangs perfectly above your fireplace with chapter and verse. No, the Lord is asking us to live the Gospel with our lives. He’s asking to rid ourselves of the need to get, move up, succeed and acquire more. More stuff. More clutter. More treasure in the earth when your spiritual house is barren and unkept.

This is a warning.

Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’” And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. With God All Things Are Possible And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?” But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Then Peter said, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.” Luke 18:18-30

Life Application Study Bible Luke 18:26-30 “Peter and the other disciples had paid a high price – leaving their homes and jobs – to follow Jesus. But Jesus reminded Peter that following him has its benefits as well as its sacrifices. Any believer, who has had to give up something to follow Christ will be paid back in this life as well as in the next. For example, if you must give up a secure job, you will find that God offers a secure relationship with himself now and forever. If you must give up your family’s approval, you will gain the love of the family of God. The disciples had begun to pay the price of following Jesus, and Jesus said they would be rewarded. Don’t dwell on what you have given up; think about what you have gained and give thanks for it. You can never outgive God.”

YOU MUST HEAR from the SPIRIT OF GOD in the way you are to go, what you’re to give up and what to give to others. I am not advocating that you sell everything and live among the poor. Only the Holy Spirit can speak such a mandate that was written for you. But you won’t know until you’re quiet before the Lord. Ask Him what needs to go and what should remain in your possession. Ask Him, “What’s next, Lord?” He knows your heart and readiness of sacrifice for the sake of the Kingdom of God. Go and seek the Lord in prayer rich man, but remember the scripture “and though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:3)

It’s not easy to live out the Gospel, but it’s worth it.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Matthew 16:24-27

Chapter: Broken

Broken a chapter from my struggles book written in 2010 that was edited and tweaked along the way but finding its debut here. And this second of three important posts and a prelude to what's coming -- a testimony on Nan Jones' #FaithNotes.

God is in control. I have surrendered, waited patiently, kept silent and obedient {sometimes} without full understanding, trusting, and seen the finger of God in and on my life. Even this hour, He is moving mountains for me, and I don't question His methods. He is omnipotent -- all powerful -- and there is none like Him. I know that He's heard my cry and will deliver me from all my troubles.

So, what are you doing about your situation? Get on your knees and pray, press in, persevere and be patient. God is working out that mess right into a message—if you are willing. Being able is not the issue for you, but it's your will that needs sanctifying. Your will must be broken and in its place, the will of the Lord for you and through you.

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21

BROKEN

Born out of struggle—it is not the route I would have chosen, or maybe I did. At this point, it is too late to argue that it would have served the world and me better for another’s path for righteousness sake. I will take it like a big girl and keep the faith because I “glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope" (Romans 5:3-4).

God knows all about me. He knows my strengths and weaknesses, what I struggle with, and what comes easy. He knows those things that tempt me, and those areas I am living out righteously. There is nothing hidden from Him. Nothing.

Even though He knows my whole life story, even those parts written, yet not in motion; He persists that my life is a testament to His goodness. I should be a breathing walking prayer—every test leading to a testimony and every mess having a message.

God is interested in my long-range good. He is not a Band-Aid kind of god. Fill that hole or stitch that wound and be done. He is committed to the complete and finished work of making me whole and healed. Meanwhile, bringing me to the end of myself—fully surrendered and emptied for God to convict, set free, and empower.

Whenever I give a “Yes, Lord!” I am prepared for the arduous work ahead.

I heard a preacher say that if you have a critical spirit, stop— and praise God for your blessings. This takes the focus off the negative and accentuates the positive! An anonymous prayer says it best, “God if I can't have what I want, let me want what I have.”

As I stumble through the spiritual growth process of Jesus producing the good fruit in my thoughts, will, and actions, I considered an experiment called the 7 Days of Thankfulness. It was an action under the obedience of the Holy Spirit to honor my husband for seven days with a heart full of thankfulness and words that build him up. When I finished my seven-day challenge, I had a small bundle of index cards wrapped in jute. The added whimsical scrolls to the title card were a needed feminine touch that offset the stark black-and-white printed cards. It was a fetching pile of truth and life-giving for me as well. I lingered in the memories as I recalled what was good, and doubted the dreadful current eclipse.

Tweet: I lingered in the memories as I recalled what was good, and doubted the dreadful current eclipse. @cupgoodness http://bit.ly/2yHQ9Jt

From the beginning, I could see a heart change as I redirected the focus on what makes my husband the perfect man for me. I made it my will to take every negative thought captive to the obedience of Christ* while making room for love, grace, and thankfulness. It brought about a shift in my attitude and behavior, which moved me in the direction of who God knows that I am—wonderfully and fearfully made, and loving selflessly without keeping a record of wrongs.

While the world says one thing about how we should love, God's take is that love is sacrificial—agape love. Though it is not always reciprocated, and maybe at times rejected, we must put on love**. This is what He expects as we mature in our faith. It is a tall order, but we can and must do it.

This challenge is not something that will fix a horrible relationship or make a good one better overnight. Yet, it can push you through the darkness, resulting in a shift towards progress.

Reflection
As we practice bringing our critical thinking under the authority of God's truth while being thankful for the gift of one another, we can see God at work transforming us. I pray the 7 Days of Thankfulness challenge is the start of your restoration from broken dreams and promises. Let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart, exposing the lies you believed and unveiling His truth. Surrender yourself to the possibility that you could be mistaken, and trust God for your tomorrow. I see you in the future, and you look (and feel) a lot better than you do right now!

*2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (MSG) Tearing Down Barriers We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

**Colossians 3:12-14 (MSG) So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.

This chapter may not be reproduced in any form by any means not all inclusive to digital copies or downloads, reprints, excerpts, scanning or recording without express permission from the author.

There is nothing wasted in Christ. Even our pit experiences give way to greatness in Him because we are refined like gold through the process. It will be His reflection in all manner and likeness. Where we're going, we must be prepared.

Being confident of this very thing,
that He who has begun a good work in you
will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6

Ill-Prepared

I heard early this morning from the Lord in a still small voice when I was yet awake, and He has added as I write.

May the Lord continue to speak Truth to His people.

They are not prepared for what’s coming. They have made a mockery of me, my name and my ministry. They are busy building, but not of my kingdom. They are busy getting married but with no commitment to me and my ministry. They are busy having children and, yet they are not bearing children in the Spirit. They have lost their way, and soon I will return to reckon every man to myself. You are either for me or against me. In the latter days, there will be a great falling away, and there will only be a few that will follow the ancient paths. The rest have fallen under deceit and deception of those who are presiding over them. They have led them astray. It is best for every man and woman to search the scriptures and find the Truth and to eat of it night and day. To know that this is my Word and in it there’s no falsehood. They will receive the Truth and be able to discern what the good way is. Let my people be forewarned there is coming a great falling away and woe to him that is caught in that snare and deceived for in him there is no chance of escaping my wrath.

This is a recurring Word. The Lord is relentless. Hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.

In the early part of this year, I posted “I AM COMING BACK WITH A VENGEANCE!” God is pouring out His wrath and being saved and sanctified is your only hope in these Last Days before the second coming of Christ because He is sure to reckon every man unto Himself.

Hear and heed. Follow the ancient paths.

Hold Fast the Confession

I’m pleading with most to take a good look inside and tell me what you see. Is Jesus Christ Lord in your life?

The Father’s heart is stirring in me to speak and bring attention that many do not hold fast their confession. They put a bow on it and put it in a box. It’s a showpiece to bring out. An heirloom to remember. An experience from long past that has dimmed and tarnished. It’s even hard for them to recall and so they’ve placed it neatly on the shelf of their heart with other reminders when it should have prominent placement and with them daily so that the zeal for the Lord and His mission they would partake in every instance to proclaim and profess Jesus Christ.

Both spoken and written are prophetic messages that would stir your heart, turn that flicker into a flame, and possibly restore your faith to one that stands out for Jesus rather than fits in. Don’t compromise, Saints! To get from God, you’ll need to give up some stuff—and I don’t mean material things, although that would be beneficial to get your desire off small idols that may be a hindrance to your spiritual growth.

God is speaking.

They {Believers in 2017} have succumbed to the way of thinking that this okay and pleasing in my sight—when I revile such behavior, to pollute my people with lies and garbage. They have given way to modern ways {teaching, methods, and habits} when the ancient paths are good and true and right. They have succumbed to the plague of wanting more and living more. There’s no contentment just to be and listen to the Holy Spirit. To be in His presence to receive. They want lights, cameras, videos to stimulate, but there’s no change. It’s all an empty experience. They shout. They cry. They even confess, but there’s no change. They have sold out for something that’s worldly and familiar in the church and forsaken the ancient paths that are right, true and good.

We are to hold fast our faith and the ancient paths for they are pure and pleasing to the Father.

Thus says the Lord:

“Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
Jeremiah 6:16

Keep Silent

Keep silent, no really, He means what He says. Don't try to analyze it over. It means just what it says.

When God is speaking, I listen. When He's teaching me, I yield to the Holy Spirit. I'm not immune to correction. I'm a sheep that needs a good poke or prod every now and again, especially if I'm traveling with my Lord through unfamiliar territory or rough terrain. I know I can trust Him because like a good Shepherd, He cares for my safety, well-being, and success in reaching my destination.

Look for an upcoming post Broken that is a chapter from my struggles book. No, I'm not releasing the title. It needs a little tweaking and perhaps one or two more stories, but I'm in no rush. It's all in His hands. My testimony is not about me or my message. It's about the Lord and His Gospel as a whole -- Genesis to Revelation -- and how it changed my life, and continues to. I'm in awe that He chose to use a regenerated spirit of an unlikely woman like me to do His bidding. But that's like Him, "to use the foolish things." (1 Corinthians 1:27) Nothing more. Nothing less.

Jesus has done so much for me and through me, and yet, I still lean on Him daily for strength and resolution through His Word when my reality is screaming different. For some months now the Lord is guiding me gently on keeping silent in regards to my marriage, particularly with my husband. It's not easy for me. At all. But I noticed it's easier if I have something to gain, but if it's just to be silent, that's hard work and takes an exercise in humbling myself before God, not my husband. Because obedience is better than sacrifice! (1 Samuel 15:22)

Here's motivational Truth in God's Word and practical insight from the Lord's well to help us keep silent when our spouse is making mistakes or about to fall.

When God is teaching me, my eyes are opened and my ears attentive to the Lord.

It's Not Over!

While I was not yet awake, I heard the Spirit of the Lord,
It's not over until it's over.

Don't get weary in doing good. Wait on the Lord. Seek the Lord while He may be found. You need to be patient, persevere, press in and pray. For in due time you shall reap a harvest. Don't settle and cling to false hope that doesn't deliver a permanent fix for your situation. God has an answer! Read the scriptures. Hold on! Let desperation give way to grace that you may be built up in faith to stand against the wiles of the enemy. If God is for you who then can be against you?! God has a solution! He has an answer! Wait on the Lord!

#FaithHopeCourage

When Jesus walked the earth, He was compelled and moved with compassion to heal the afflicted. Whatever is afflicting you today God has an answer. He has a solution. You are not overlooked or forgotten. Give your care to the Lord! While you’re waiting, know that Jesus was afflicted and stricken, and even then, he looked toward the cross that was before Him knowing the joy beyond that.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
Isaiah 53:7-8

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

And how can we follow such an example you ask? Through faith! Let this trouble though only for a little while be working in you a greater measure of faith as you find the Lord on your knees. And for some of you, this means literally in your midnight hour, feel the earth beneath you as you cry out to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Come to Him all that are weary and heavy laden, and He will give you rest.

Jesus is speaking to you! He’s speaking to your affliction! It’s not over until it’s over!

Scripture Stands Alone

Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
Do not add to His words,
Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
Proverbs 30:5-6

Scripture is sufficient. It stands alone. We need not add or take away from it. God forbid! For if we do, we are in error and leading many astray with believing instead in the tradition of men mixed with false doctrine while forsaking His Truth.

So you nullify the [authority of the] word of God [acting as if it did not apply]
because of your tradition which you have handed down [through the elders].
And you do many things such as that.
Mark 7:13

It's not the will of God that I testify against a sect, cult, denomination or even single out leaders in the Body of Christ who are false prophets and teachers—but that you understand for yourself through the study of the Word of God and by the revelation of the Holy Spirit what is the Truth. And thereby be a life transformed subjected to that Truth and carry it with you into eternity.

I believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inerrant Word of God -- it is infallible -- and has all authority in the Believers life and the guidelines in which we must live as Disciples of Christ.

Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you.
2 Corinthians 6:17

So glad I have Jesus, and His grace has kept me even today. As a minister, I am "to come out from among them and be set apart" and held to a "higher standard."

Not many [of you] should become teachers
[serving in an official teaching capacity],
my brothers and sisters,
for you know that we [who are teachers] will be judged by a higher standard
[because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly].
James 3:1

While we mature in the Lord, we realize that our old ways or thinking falter in comparison to the Word and His character. And though the Truth can be judgmental to the hearer that doesn't make it false because it's the same Truth that we hear in our Spirit Man and who listens to our prayers and answers. We ought not to treat the Truth with such disregard and chose only that which tickles our ears leaving behind most of what would otherwise transform us into His likeness.

The Spirit of the Lord has spoken,
Let no man be tested but let the scripture be his guide and answer for all things.

Feelings Shmeelings

God is speaking, and not far off on topic from the last post, Beware of False Prophets & Teachers  where we learn that the church has become mostly entertainment and business.

As a Believer in miracles, signs, and wonders I consider the move of the Holy Spirit to be genuine as I have seen and experienced myself full to overflowing with the divine glory of God. Nevertheless, the Lord is teaching me how this generation is more convinced with a feeling or an experience used as an indicator in and outside the church.

If it feels good or exemplifies love, it's okay. If doing what you desire is pleasurable to the flesh and not breaking the law that's okay too. And why not add Jesus to the mix and call it Christian. Beware! Feelings and experiences are not a test of truth -- God’s truth. Be careful! God’s Word is the only test that can reveal if our feelings or experiences are right, true and permissible.

Recently, I watched a video of preachers debating whether homosexuality is permissible as a Child of God. It left me with more questions, and I pressed in and inquired of the Lord. He answered.

Beware of False Prophets & Teachers

We know not the hour which the Son of Man will be coming through the clouds with a shout of glory from Heaven. Therefore, no man shall sleep for it is coming and His hour near.

Are you ready?

My heart burns and my tears flow as the Spirit of God is persisting that I share this message. There’s an urgency. A quickening like I’ve never felt. Since the week of Hurricane Irma’s landfall in Florida, the Spirit of God has been speaking.

Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.
Jeremiah 20:9

I have come across many pastors and prophets that are sensationalizing spiritual gifts, prostituting the Gospel and stealing money from their congregants. It’s appalling to think that the Church has become mostly entertainment and business. As I recall, Jesus performed many miracles to include healing the blind and lame, raising Lazarus from the dead, and casting out demons. But when I read these accounts in the Word of God, Jesus did not exhibit showmanship*. In fact, the Holy Bible says that He "made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant.” Yet, we have men and women who are pilfering in the name of the Gospel for money, fame, and fortune.

Fal$e Prophet$ and Fal$e Teacher$

Beware of false prophets,
who come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Matthew 7:15

The Spirit of God who is the Revealer of mysteries and secrets is showing me more, that I might learn such things by His hand and in His timing. It breaks my heart to know many of my brothers and sisters have been deceived thinking their salvation in Christ is secure when following others who elevate themselves and their ministry above the Lord while attracting millions to flock and give their savings. It’s shocking to think how Satan has infiltrated the Church as a marketplace opportunity to advance his kingdom and adding blinded followers to hellfire continuously at an alarming rate.

You Have Everything You Need

My heart is that I see you in the arms of Jesus wearing white.

You say how can that be with mountains before me, the past reminding me and tomorrow is not yet known.

My heart is burning for His people, for the lost, for those in distress and in despair. It burns for those with mountains in front of them; they don’t know where to turn or who to turn to.

But the Lord is reckoning every man unto Himself. You will return to the Lord!

The Lord himself has given you everything you need.

And he called his ten servants,
and delivered them ten pounds,
and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Luke 19:13

Yea, the Lord is coming, and His hour near.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him.
And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
Revelation 1:7

Go!

Where you are, is your mission field.

Put away every distraction, every encumbrance, and every hindrance. You have a responsibility in that.

The Lord is willing and able! He will surprise you!

My Prayer Over You:
Lord, anoint their mouth and anoint their hands that they may do good and bring glory to God.

Who Will Call on The Lord?

In the hours that the Lord woke me up to commune and pray this week, it was not for naught. For Apostle Paul says in the scriptures, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-7)

9/5/17
In the first minute of my waking, the Lord spoke to me without nary a question or a thought from me, “It is not my will that anyone should perish, but all should come to repentance.” As I heard the same twice, I knew the Spirit of the Living God was referring to humanity, but especially those who were in the path of Hurricane Irma.

Then later in sharing I was impressed to add, “May those who are in distress with rising waters call on the name of the Lord!” Pondering afterward, who (specifically) will call on the Lord while in their distress when the water rises. By revelation, I received that these are His children that are returning. They will remember their beginning and their testimony in Christ Jesus, call on Him and be saved.

Following this in the afternoon while doing an ordinary task, the prophetic revealed a biblical truth, and I spoke aloud, “If they labor in the field all week and others come to work in the last hour, all will receive the same wages.”

Prophetic: Raise Them Up, Lord!

It was my heart prayer, but much more a prophetic prayer on Tuesday, Aug 29th for Texas:

Then I heard through Nan Jones on her uplifting blog post about Teresa R. Casey-Bell, who "led a million FB users to God as she praised Him in the storm."

Praise Jesus! He will do it!

Whatever you're asking God to do today I want you to stand on His Word.  He will make a way when there seems to be no way.  He is faithful! Wait! Watch! Listen! Receive your miracle!

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Prophetic: Receive Your Miracle

As the Lord has said in His Word in 1 Corinthians 2:9, "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'"

It is a hard place but God sees you. Begin to cry out to the Lord! Give Him your time, talent and treasure. Give Him what's in your hand. Give Him what's in your life. Give Him your full attention. He will do it for you. Sacrifice to the Lord and see if He will not prove who He is in and through you. If you're desperate cry out to God Our Father.

Receive your miracle! Wait! Watch! Listen! Believe and receive your miracle!

WATCH ~ WAIT ~ LISTEN

As a Minister/Messenger of the Ministry of Jesus Christ, I say to you be obedient and remain faithful because we serve a mighty God!

Come To Me and Rest

Often, we are sure of our destiny in the Lord, we know it like we know our own name. It’s ingrained in our spirit-man and it motivates us in looking for opportunities to share in His goodness because we know His truth. Yet, life can shake us to the inner core and bring us to our knees. Life’s pain and struggles can become the enemy’s foothold if we’re not careful and willing to reach out for godly advice. Such private struggles we don’t share with everyone. Still, God is there to guide us through with His scripture and His ministers to comfort and assure us in continuing the journey.

God Calling {Devotional}
May 8
The Rest of God
I lead you. The way is clear. Go forward unafraid. I am beside you. Listen, listen, listen to My Voice. My Hand is controlling all. Remember that I can work through you better when you are at rest. Go very slowly, very quietly from one duty to the next – taking the time to rest and pray between. Do not be too busy. Take all in order as I say. The Rest of God is in a realm beyond all man’s activities. Venture there often, and you will indeed find Peace and Joy. All work that results from resting with God is miracle-work. Claim the power to work miracles, both of you. Know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Nay, more, know that you can do all things through Christ who rests you.
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse … and his rest shall be glorious.
Isaiah 11:10

Give Him your whole heart, study the Word and rest with God. Trust Him for your miracle work!

2 Corinthians 9:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.

In Christ, we have what we need, want and desire. He fulfills. He satisfies. He gives us life.

I apologize for the voice recording that unfortunately was a recording of a recording because of technical difficulty. I thank God that this Word has gone forth regardless of the opposition and hours spent in finding a solution so that the hearer might be changed and set free!

Wait on The Promise

With Abraham faith, I too have gazed at the stars with a promise and waited. Can you?

For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.
Luke 1:37 AMP

Like a spouse who comes up from behind you with a surprising kiss while you’re watching the Food Network and munching on Veggie Straws, the Holy Spirit did just that with a message. It was an unexpected visit.

The Rivers of Living Water are continually flowing and at any moment the Lord can speak through me. My mind wandered to a particular person and situation, and I thought, "It’s not a quick fix."

In the Kingdom of God, we can’t put in our request and expect things to turn around in a weekend. There’s no special curing process in the Spirit with an expected time for results. There’s no secret 7-step method for what we’re looking for. Although we can be a Change Agent -- implementing godly character with healthy boundaries -- to help ease the frustration for both ourselves and others. There are countless variables with every circumstance, but the keys to unlock our situation lie in the search with all our heart to be found in the Word and by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. You can even gain #FaithHopeCourage on your journey with the help of several resources and people. But enough about that. I want to share the heart of God with you now to give you a boost and point the way, especially for those who are waiting and weary.

The Scripture, “with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day,” (2 Peter 3:8) was recalled from the sacred part of my soul and rang true in my spirit for this craving of a quick fix. We can’t rush the process. As I wept in the Truth then, I weep again writing.

Wait on the promise.
Read it for yourself!

We must dig deep in our cistern of faith to pull from it ample amounts of #FaithHopeCouarge, and believe with all our hearts in what God has spoken to us and over us that we may see the “goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13) Hold on my Brothers and Sisters, and wait on the promise!

I have a few significant testimonies of God’s goodness in my own life and I have also witnessed it in the lives of others. Yet, my heart knows there is more, much more. Be diligent and study the Word. Be obedient and drink from the Cup of the Lord daily. You’ll find that as you practice these things they will become good habits that are life, even unto your bones. You’ll look forward to pleasing God meanwhile cultivating in the Spirit and gaining ground with the promise ever closer, though maybe on Heaven’s timetable and not your own.

For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time
It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail.
Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it,
Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.
Habakkuk 2:3 AMP

The Devil is a Liar: MLM Recruiting

If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. John 8:31 AMP

What does it mean that “the truth will set you free” (John 8:32) True disciples will know the truth. More than that, their eyes are opened to a greater understanding of the truth.
The devil replicates the Divine with his signature twist of perversion. Not perversion sexually regarding this topic, but yes, he has done that as well.

I want to speak to you about how the devil has given the world a divine model in scripture and perverted it with the intent to be millionaires. Many have been involved either in both purchasing or as a distributor/sponsor in Multi Level Marketing or know someone who has or perhaps still is.

Recently, I watched a documentary Betting on Zero*. An in-depth investigation of Herbalife with "controversial hedge fund titan," billion dollar investor Bill Ackman exposing the company's fraudulent practices for a gain of money, which turns out is not as bad it sounds.
Amazon Reviewer: This might be the best Wall Street movie ever made, but it's more than that. It's a movie about the American Dream, what people will do for "30 pieces of silver," and what the right measuring stick for success really is.
Interesting, minutes into the explaining of a pyramid scheme the Holy Spirit revealed a Truth. This is a perversion of the Divine -- disciples making disciples -- a duplication -- all the while God the Father (The Ultimate Upline) getting all the glory.
The Divine Rise of Multilevel Marketing (November 23, 2015) Christianity Today Magazine - Similarly, personal-finance expert Dave Ramsey tells his listeners that, while many MLM companies are legitimate businesses, they take a lot of work. At root, Ramsey in a video recording for his radio show, MLM success is about recruiting and retaining a sales team, not selling products. “You need to understand the business you’re in,” he said. “And the business you’re in is recruiting.”

I'm Just Unfinished

Why do we think as a Believers we can leave God on the sidelines and only call Him in for Special Teams—when we’re in deep doo-doo? The circumstances are against us and the odds of victory look slim to nothing. It stinks, and our playbook is not helping at all. There’s no strategy or quick remedy to get us in a forwarding motion. We’re surrounded by the opposing force and their presence is evident. We can’t escape. Or can we?

The strength you’re needing to fight the enemy, close doors, and open others begins with growth in the knowledge of Christ. You can’t be a winner overcoming spiritual battles unless you know who you are and whose you are. And that all is learned and cultivated in the Spirit by reading God’s Word daily.

A multi-million dollar NFL player doesn’t become that overnight. He’s a work-in-progress. He’s a success story that has put in countless years of training and being coached to be the best on the field and off it. His physical abilities far exceed the average Joe and his character shaped by discipline and motivation to win. He’s unstoppable on the field and his confidence lies in his abilities, and hopefully his faith in God as well.

"I Am Coming Back with a Vengeance!"

I'm posting this with confidence that He who speaks in the still small voice as written in 1 Kings 19 with Elijah the prophet, still speaks, and it has been confirmed. This is a weighty message and one that every reader should heed unless you are capable of withstanding the Lord's vengeance in your own strength. With the release of any Word of prophecy, I yield to the Spirit of God on timing and how it's to be shared. You'll note that I'm starting with the most current, which leads up to the study in Holy Scriptures where you'll find it supported.

April 10, 2017
Tell them that I’m releasing a spirit in the land and I will reckon every man unto myself. You are either for me or against me.
April 7, 2017

Considering the critical news in Syria this past week I believe this Word should be published and shared.

I received an answer from the Lord on March 17. But, before that consider this: If our land experiences the consequences of our sinful ways, you’ll want to be safe in the secret sacred place with Jesus. Return to Him before it’s too late! God is pouring out His wrath and being saved and sanctified is your only hope in these Last Days before the second coming of Christ.

April 6, 2017

I interceded in the Spirit and God spoke in the prophetic.
He will reckon every man unto Himself.
If we're truly His, we'll be counted. There's coming a time of separating. Whose are you? We must be rooted and grounded in Christ and growing in Him. Otherwise, we are already cursed (fig tree). No time for being half in.

The wind and rain will come, but those who cling to the Lord will be rooted in Christ.

Don't fear, but press in. Abide in Him!

March 17, 2017

In February, I knelt with the unction of the Holy Spirit with hands lifted and open. Then God spoke and gave me the scrolls, which I believe to be the Word of God with revelation.

It’s important that I preface first and foremost what we as Body of Christ do from here and why this message. Focus on the HOPE in GLORY that was once preached and received by you. Regardless of your stance currently, I believe if you’re reading this God has a plan to restore you to the faith and from there you will strengthen the brethren. Yes, you will return to the Lord! So why is God speaking such gloom and doom here while others are witnessing the warm and fuzzy side of God? I’m wondering that too, but God is adding and building here. There’s no agenda or goal outside of pleasing the Lord at Cup of Goodness or in my daily ministry. If God is speaking I will listen, eat His Words in the Holy Scriptures and release it. And my heart rejoices gladly in doing it!

This week I inquired of the Lord when He returns. He answered me.

I am coming back with a vengeance. I will release a spirit in the land because many call me Lord but do not do the things I say.

If You’re Not Growing You’re Dying

I Wept

My heart is heavy and sorrowful with feeling both the sadness of the people in affliction and the mind of God concerning it. I wept for the victory of my brothers and sisters. “Lord, why isn’t the Word working in their lives? You are no respecter of persons.” I pressed in and inquired that and more. Then the tears flowed and God answered in that still small voice.

For years, I have wept for my children who are stubborn as mules and refuse by their own choice to mature in the faith. They are settled in keeping vigil at eating meat that’s ground up and milk that’s fresh. They have no patience, no stamina for the waiting of God’s plan or purpose. If it’s not happening now they’re moving on. They have forsaken treasure for fool’s gold. They have given way to the culture’s idea of success and freedom and forfeited their rights as sons and daughters of the Most High God. They have decided to live as beggars instead of living as they should be in prayer, fasting and dependent on God. They have traded in royalty for beggar’s clothes—and beg they shall.

In all the world, you find few who know how to enter and be patient for the miracles and wonders my Kingdom can bring, but those that do find that the journey of holding out is worthy, are far better off. They have peace that surpasses all understanding and they have the Word to comfort them in the meanwhile.

Tell them, my love and my Word are sufficient for them.

Worrier to Warrior

For so many years my family has had reason to worry upon worry and to no fault of their own. They had tough decisions faced with failed marriages and relationships with men, children to feed, forgotten dreams of their own and probably even a little lost.

I think back on if I struggled with worry and the honest answer is no. I’ve always been confident and assured of my abilities. That’s of course before the enemy came in and took charge on an unsuspecting day. It was devastating. He left me groveling on the floor while I begged God, “What is my testimony?” My foundation in Christ was weak, and that’s the beginning of it. My weakness was not being in the Word daily. I had attended a Bible study and even blogged about my faith frequently while my daughter was growing up, but in the end, it didn’t sustain me. I fell apart and she entered kindergarten early. I was a mess and the enemy wasn’t satisfied with just wreaking havoc on my spiritual disposition, no he was content to dole out ample amounts of fear, disillusionment, suicidal thoughts, insomnia, depression and more. It was the darkest time I have ever experienced. It was hell on earth for me—not exaggerating in the least.

Satan and his demons are always looking for the weaker ones and it doesn’t matter if you have a church membership either.

How about you? Are you flirting with the world instead of meditating on His Word day and night? If you are, I caution you to take inventory and rearrange your priorities before it’s too late. Recently, I spoke during a prophetic audio how the enemy is circling some in the Body of Christ. Yes, that’s true.  "He is seeking whom He may devour." (1 Peter 5:8)  Are you his next meal? He’s just waiting for a way in. Will you give it to him or will you heed the voice of the Lord and return to the Lord, fully? My prayer is that you do. And in the process, God will transform you, like He did me. Now that I have returned to the Lord after my sifting, I am without compromise, committed to growing spiritually and encouraging the Brethren. I am a warrior for Christ! Where my feet land, I declare the Good News with power, authority, and dominion. Oh, and the devil…he’s under my feet!

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

Let’s not be caught off guard. Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle!

Just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:25-27

Why Have You Forsaken Me? {Warning!}

“You have forsaken Me,” says the LORD,
“You have gone backward.
Therefore I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you;
I am weary of relenting!
Jeremiah 15:6 NKJV

“You have abandoned (rejected) Me,” says the LORD.
“You keep going backward.
Therefore I shall stretch out My hand against you and destroy you;
I am tired of delaying [your punishment]!
Jeremiah 15:6 AMP

The prophetic Word* as given to me, Rosemarie, His servant:

In the hour you know not of the thief will come to destroy. He will rob you of your little faith and leave you begging for mercy. He will destroy your family, finances and your future. Yet, you have decided to keep me in a box hidden away for only those {selective, chosen} to see, but in your quiet time you have done the unthinkable and have abandoned your teaching of the Gospel.
If I were standing in front of you, you would be convinced, but I tell you I have sent many with my truth to warn and lead you from the lies and still you have chosen to cling to pleasure. You have forsaken holiness and sound doctrine for a false teaching and your judgment is nigh. You have chosen to forsake the commandments to keep holy and separate. You have linked yourselves with the world and are now harlots. You have slept with the enemy and your due justice is nigh.
Why have you forsaken me? Why?
*find below an audio clip that continues God's message

I consider this to be a Word from the Lord and I publish it in obedience to the Spirit of God who instructs and guides me as He wills.

How many times will you pursue fame, fortune, and success and forsake the commandments? The Lord is asking questions. He’s also sending a warning.

If you’re on the fence, feeding on a soft gospel or false teaching, doing the unthinkable hiding in secret and showing only Jesus to those some of the time, God is aware and judgment is near.

Still, if you have breath left with your mind made up, return to the Lord before the thief is at your door. Don’t delay! This could be your last chance before it’s too late. God is asking that I do His bidding that you would not perish but have everlasting life. Run to the Lord!

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8

The Lord bless and keep all those who are returning to Him this season. May they find refreshing waters and peace that surpasses all understanding in His care as they read the Word of God and grow in the knowledge of Christ. Being lovers of God rather than lovers of the world!

The Word Is God

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16,17 NIV

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16,17 NKJV

If you want to hear from God read the Word! I tell you, you can be in the presence of God and hear from Him directly. Stop searching online for a Word to fit your situation or the sign you may have thought was God. Stop! Read the Word of God—meditate on it night and day. He will speak to you. He is no respecter of persons. He will speak to you. If you honestly and sincerely search for Him with all your heart, He said He would be found. He is not a man that He should lie.

Stop signing up for every conference and prophetic meeting. Get in the Word of God and learn! He wants to teach you. There are treasures to be found in the Word of God and yet, you’ll settle for someone else to deliver it, when you could have given up your free time and hear for yourself. Stop buying books and dig deep in the greatest book ever that’s God-breathed -- the Holy Bible.

Why are you satisfied hearing news second hand?

As a Woman of God, an ordained minister with spiritual gifts of the prophetic it seems unlikely that I would want to make public such a teaching, but I tell you it’s the Holy Spirit who is filling my mouth to teach the Church.

May you be changed and transformed by the Word of God!

The Kingdom of God

There are many who believe and have received Jesus in their heart. Sadly, it's the end of their spiritual journey. No transformation. No discipleship. No seeking and searching through the scriptures. No signs and wonders that follow them.

The GOSPEL of the KINGDOM is what Jesus preached and it was manifested while He walked among us, and declared "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:12-14)

Life Application Study Bible states that "the disciples, working in the power of the Holy Spirit, would carry the gospel of God's kingdom out of Palestine and into the whole world."

The disciples in biblical times were empowered and endowed as they did also as Jesus taught them. So why aren't we? Why aren't more of us concerned about being a priest or prophet in our own homes rather than seeking a platform elsewhere? Ministry begins at home—they are your first converts. Amen! Everyone wants to be a leader and coach, but where are the Disciples of Christ who are transformed and taking by force what God has deemed His. Where are you? What's occupying your time other than Kingdom business?

A NOW Word from the Lord concerning the Kingdom of God.

Read the RED letters, which are the sayings and teachings of Jesus.

"For the word of God is living and powerful,
and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit,
and of joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Hebrews 4:12

God Speaks

There is a good amount of questioning about who can hear from God and how often. And I don’t have an answer for every question that flows from that topic, but what I do know is that when God speaks I am attentive to the still small voice in my spirit man that sounds very different than my own voice. He’s gentle but straightforward. Moreover, as my relationship deepens with the Lord, I hear Him more often with answers. Now it comes to mind as I write that in my own personal circumstances I don’t hear Him in my spirit as much as the Word of God seems to be readily available as if it’s waiting in queue for pickup. It’s in an instant and without prompting. However, in this season with a division in the Church over Bible Truth, brother against brother over differences of opinions, and our culture changing rapidly with a voice that’s neither unified or respectful I am asking God the hard questions and He’s answering swiftly.

I wrote God Remains Faithful in November after the general election voting Donald J. Trump and how I held back, but never shared the context of what God had spoken on July 29, 2016. It’s time.

Get Up Again

For the Saints of God who are the Soldiers of Christ. A timeless Word regardless of the calendar year.

Most of us have fallen at least once or more. I'm not sure how it looked at the end of 2016 for you, but even so, I have good news. For we have comfort in the Word of God -- the Holy Scriptures -- and by the Spirit of a Holy God through the prophetic gifts.

For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again.
Proverbs 24:16a

Be encouraged my brother and sister, "Get up, again."

May this Word not only bless every hearer but bring to pass that which God has spoken over each of them.

Pray for Salvation

Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’” Joel 2:17

I was sending a reply text with an intercessory prayer early this morning, and when I was through immediately I fell to my knees, weeping for the individual and their household for salvation. It was on my lips and burning in my heart. Throughout the day I entered in and out of the spirit, and by the end, God had wrecked me. Literally. I was undone.

Recently, I asked God to increase the ministry and gifts in me, and well, He's delivering with each experience. Truthfully, I'm overwhelmed and not in a shout for joy kind of way. It's deep and weighty, but I know His grace is sufficient to carry out whatever the task, prayer or message.

Why are some delivered while others suffer?

Like in the Church of Corinth Paul answers church questions in the book of 1 Corinthians 7-16, I myself am asking God hard questions and He’s answering. A key component in this divine transaction is that I don’t keep the answers to myself. In the quiet of my heart, I heard the Spirit of the Lord.

If I answer, you must share it. It’s your responsibility. And if you don’t, I’ll get someone else to do it.

God will use us when we’re available and willing, but if we hold back He will certainly move on and give the assignment to another to carry out His message to the Church and the world at large.

What you find here on this blog in written form or in audio is the character of God. It may not be what you've heard before, and because of this, you may question is it really the Lord speaking through a true prophetess. I am told that this gift is not merely a gift, but the Office of a Prophet, and with that comes great responsibility to pray, stand in the gap, to war against darkness, and speak as I am spoken to regardless of the topic or answer. I don’t get to edit, tweak or water down the words. I am a servant -- a messenger. That is all. And I will walk confidently in the truth—His truth.

Birthday Celebration {6 Years}

I am thankful to God for giving my "Yes, Lord," armslegs, and a voice. On 1.11.2011 I began a journey here that was focused predominantly on sharing my faith and God took what was in my heart and increased it. My journey though only a short while, the desire and promise to feed His sheep remains. Yesterday, after praying and blessing a Woman of God with a kiss from Heaven that left us both full and loved, I pressed in the more on my drive home.
Debra Lee Murrow @colormedebralee #artist #colorme
Lord, fill my hands with loaves and fishes that I may feed the multitude by the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is exactly the heart of God for His children -- to feed the hungry filling them with a hope that does not disappoint and promises that are assured in the work of the Cross.

Let's get our head straight and hearts fixed on Kingdom work—time is short and the laborers few.

Father God, I thank you for every reader, that they may feed the spiritually hungry. Give them FAITH to believe in miracles, HOPE that does not disappoint, and COURAGE to fear not in dark places. Let your Kingdom come Lord Jesus! Amen!
