Walk Confidently in The Truth

The Spirit of the Living God is speaking through the true prophets of God. My Pastor said recently, “The truth will produce fruit.” And God has added to that promise in my own life. In fact, I'm witnessing the fruit already as we end this calendar year and God prepares my heart with this timely message.

If you’re looking for a word or a mantra for 2017 this one should not be overlooked.

“Walk confidently in the truth and it will produce fruit.”

I believe the Lord is asking His own to be bold and brazen concerning His promises. Walk in His truth with faith that speaks volumes at your circumstance. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost give rise to the matter filling your mouth with the Word of God in due season. Let it be an arrow shot from the very hand of God concerning your situation. Don’t let the enemy have a foothold any longer. Curse that devil and demon, bind the strong man and send them back to their father a defeated foe. Give notice to any realm of darkness in your life or in the lives of those you hold close. Confiscate the enemy’s weapons. Don’t be delusional though your natural hands are empty and that you are small in stature for in the spirit you’re a mighty warrior with the scriptures as your sword. March on Christian Soldier for victory is yours as the Light of Glory reigns in you!

Warning! Read it For Yourself

"And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

I speak the truth as a disciple of Jesus.

Not every Word of the Lord is given for encouragement, but also for reprove and instruction that we who are following may hear from Heaven with clear direction. If you are starting this faith journey in Christ, there is a lot to learn, and better still, if you are walking with Christ for years there is more to learn.

God Remains Faithful

When God speaks to us in the secret place in our heart we accept it as truth. Or do we? While faith to believe can be unshakable and certain, at other times outside influence can make muddy the promise spoken in or over us. Yet, we must realize that "a double-minded person is unstable in all they do" nor is "the Holy Spirit the author of confusion, but of peace." And the exclamation point, "we walk by faith, not by sight." We shouldn’t let the present facts contaminate our faith with doubt. When we believe, we stand on His promises, which are "Yes and Amen!" "For He is not a man that He should lie."

In July, I heard the Lord speak to my heart concerning Trump as president but wasn’t willing to put it out for public knowledge. I kept it quiet even in my inner circles because of the divisiveness over the support of one candidate over another. This election was putting family – The Body of Christ – at odds with each other. And I didn’t like it. At all. I found that saying something, anything, could sour a good friendship. So, I made up my mind to be limited in that topic of conversation online and in person. I went about life as usual but inquired more with the Lord about what I heard in the secret sacred place as Nov 8 approached.

Two weeks ago, I prayed fervently as the Spirit gave me utterance concerning the mantel of the U.S. presidency. I thank God for His Holy Spirit that prays with me and for me. But, still, I wanted more confirmation. The Holy Bible says, "in all your getting (of wisdom) get understanding." I’m curious like a toddler and ask God a lot of questions. I ask until I’m satisfied. When my spirit man is full.

We Overcome {Prayer}

The Holy Spirit prays with us and for us according to God's will. And when we prayer the will of God, He hears us. And if He hears us, we have what we have asked of Him.

A prayer for those who are in the valley of the shadow of death and facing darkness this season.

We thank you for your word that says, "we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony." Even now Lord, you are adding to _____ testimony in Christ Jesus. He will never leave him/her nor forsake him/her. He/She is not an orphan or abandoned. But loved and kept because of Jesus. He/She is His and marked for eternity! No devil in hell can claim what is yours Father. For you are the "Father to the fatherless." Thank you for your word Lord! I know you keep watch over your word so that it may not falter or fail. You are a mighty God, and we thank you for the purpose and plan you have intended even in this season. We thank you for increase of faith, hope and courage to stand in the face of darkness. For you shall be near to all who call on the name that is above every name....JESUS the CHRIST of NAZARETH!

As a minister of the Gospel, sharing the goodness of God and His promises, which are, "Yes and Amen!"

"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." Romans 8:26-27

"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." 1 John 5:14

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." Revelation 12:11

"A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation." Psalm 68:5

Jeremiah’s Letter to the Captives: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." 2 Corinthians 1:20

JESUS Is One in A Million

Written October 9, 2012

The Spirit of the Lord wells up in my spirit throughout the day with scripture, but also in song.

This morning I sang at my kitchen sink, “One In A Million.” A song I haven’t heard of in years and with no influence other than the Holy Spirit, I begin to sing from my mouth what I hear deep inside. This is one of the many ways He ministers to me.

Yes, our spirit man sings to the Lord with scripture, praise and hymns, but every now and again with a secular song.

We all have an inherent need to be loved. Though we search high and low through acceptance, family, spouses, children, careers and even ministry, we find that only One is able to fill that role with satisfaction until overflowing. I’m talking of Jesus the Christ, who in His glorious love and light gives us all that we hunger and thirst for at overwhelming quantities.

I have found a one in a million love that shall never cease or die for it flows from the Living Water. Finally, my thirst for true love quenched. For the Son of God came shining through my being and what a revelation to receive, God was saying, “I love you!” to me.

Beloved, Jesus is a one in a million, “a chance of a lifetime.” His love is pure and for you personally. He is waiting with arms outstretched for the lost, the prodigal and the weak to open their hearts to repent and surrender to Him. And in return, He will show you compassion with a love that is everlasting, hopeful, and never disappoints.

For child art prodigy Akiane, Jesus is for real
“Jesus remains my highest authority, love, and God,” she adds. “I pray every day that people will one day follow Jesus, His teachings and feel His love.”

Nan Jones Interview {The Perils of a Pastor's Wife}

Nan Jones
Author & Speaker

The Perils of a Pastor's Wife is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and LPC Bookstore

When I read a certain page in Nan Jones’ book The Perils of a Pastor’s Wife I wept for her. She exposed her pain in a raw and real way that I can relate. Almost too well maybe, but then again, that’s what I admire most about her faith journey– the courage to push through disappointment. No matter how deep her suffering she still ran to God seeking comfort and direction, and not the usual quick-fix with answers. No, she wasn’t having an all-out tantrum, but rather humble in the grace desperately needed for herself and everyone involved. Her soul truly surrendered while gray skies loomed above, and the walls of her dark pit seemed to be closing in. Still, she looked toward Heaven for a touch, a word, a sign that’s she’s held close, and not forgotten. She needed God above all else.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5

Nan is continuing to heal, and her future bright with each day trusting God for the ordinary and the extras. Grateful she is that He has been faithful, as always, and assured that He will continue to be there for her as she carries this hope to others struggling for a new normal.

God works in mysterious ways. Nan has found comfort for her healing journey while giving when she feels there’s nothing left to give, which is the miracle from knowing Jesus intimately.

When we think we’re done, shattered and all-together a mess is when He can use us most while the ashes settle.

Nan has been diligent in keeping up with social media while building readership and promoting her book. Her ministry expanded from the beginning to include speaking events in her home state of North Carolina with resounding positive endorsements. She also inspires semi-weekly on her website under the link Blog.

Proverbs 31:25

Your written story is one that is peppered throughout with biblical teaching and references for the reader. I believe God is pleased with your altar built as a memorial to the Lord for His faithfulness.

How does your praise continue to translate in the everyday? Are you speaking, and have you considered another writing project?

Open My Eyes Lord

Blessed be the Lord,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.
The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield;
My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.
Psalm 28:6-7

I want to thank the Lord for HIS JOY that fills me regardless of my everyday struggles, questions, and doubts that I’m loved and worthy for His Kingdom. I am overwhelmed this day. My heart filled to overflowing as He has given me a song in my mouth, and courage to walk with confidence that "He who began a good work shall complete it." (Philippians 1:6)

Look for the above in my book!

I’m not sure where you are today—on the mountain top or in the valley low, but wherever you are, know that the Lord is near to all who call upon Him. If you need hope turn to the scriptures, "GOD Has An ANSWER" concerning this matter that is weighty and burdensome. He is able to lead and guide you to a place of joy. Regardless of the success or finality of this situation.

Think for a moment that God who is able to transcend time and space is able to comfort you right where you are. With His loving touch and gentle words, "He leads us beside the still and quiet waters." (Psalm 23:2)

Reach out my brother and sister, and call upon the name of the Lord. He is able and willing to help you walk this out with joy in your heart. I pray that you find what you’re needing today in the Lord, and that your soul be satisfied with His Holy scriptures.

Be encouraged, God has an answer for you!

[I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come. And He put all things [in every realm] in subjection under Christ’s feet, and appointed Him as [supreme and authoritative] head over all things in the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills and completes all things in all [believers]. Ephesians 1:17-23 AMP

If you’re wondering, maybe even wandering and lost, and wanting an answer… let me point you in the right direction. God has the answer.

As a prophetess of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I speak to you a now word for your now moment.

Let the Spirit of a Holy God increase your faith, hope and courage through this voice recording, and let it minister to you in the evening hours as well. Let it remain with you for weeks to come as God brings about change from His life-giving Word in you.

My Brother and Sister, walk out this situation, circumstance, or trial and give God the praise for His redemptive spirit breathing life on matters that concern you. And while waiting and growing stronger in faith, hope and courage, know that God has an answer for you!

Faith Hope Courage II

Ephesians 4:12-13 "...to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

What a blessed time since March! The first order of wristbands are gone, and I received yesterday the second batch from Reminderband. I'm excited to see how God will lead and where they'll be mailed to.

#FaithHopeCourage wristbands have been given to family, friends, Believers and those I haven't met yet within the contiguous United States. Recipients were mailed a special message along with a wristband to encourage them on their journey.

Recalling with Christ's love how this journey began. I met Mike who has serious health issues through a mutual friend. Mike is a sweetheart with a gentle soul and I was moved with compassion to reach out. But how? When I arrived home the Holy Spirit prompted me to write a personal message for him. I have done this through letters before so this wasn't as crazy as it might seem. So typing on my keyboard in obedience came the gift #FaithHopeCourage with a God-idea of a wristband as well. Mike was very blessed,"Thank you for being the messenger." I hadn't thought of that until he said it, but I can see God's fingerprint all over this mission.

Yes, I accept Lord.

Walking with Jesus as a Believer is an adventure, but serving in the ministry and imitating His example takes plain vanilla to a whole new flavor.

Are you with me?

As we mature in Christ, we transform into His likeness in a spiritual process to imitate and love like He did. It's euphoric when Jesus takes residence in our hearts and we speak and act as He would.

My prayer is that I can continue to serve and honor Jesus in the ministry using the gift #FaithHopeCourage as an instrument to share God's heart for His children.

If you'd like to receive a wristband please contact me.

Faith Hope Courage is a message to those afflicted with sickness, facing trials, or in the chasm of despair.
In my own personal struggles I have found that these three elements have been the sustaining factor in which I can carry on in spite of circumstances, disappointments, or when life happens in any season.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Psalm 27:13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.

The Struggle Is Real

While washing lunch dishes God reminded me of a scripture, "Pick up your cross and follow me" in Matthew 16:24. I listened that much more intently and inquired as my heart was searching for answers in the here and now.

Pick up your temptation. Pick up your weakness. Pick up your burden. And follow the Lord.

I believe God in His way was telling me that not every struggle would I be delivered from. Some perhaps, but more would remain until I leave this earthly shell and go home to be with Jesus. As a Woman of Faith does that make God-sense? Although I'm still listening and following it may not sound like a faith-worthy statement. Nonetheless, it may be the absolute truth as I rally and put on a happy face—even when I’m feeling contrary.

It was motivation to purge that I began to go through a corner plastic bin in my home office. Nestled behind organized large-sized baggies of greeting cards were report cards from elementary through high school. Thanks to my mom.

I was more than surprised as I sat on the cool travertine tiled floor reading each one cover to cover. Poor me. I lacked direction and accountability with no support or tools to do better. It could have put me under as I had no idea that I had issues beyond the typical nonsense of adolescence, but teacher's comments don't lie. Do they? Especially when there was a consistency from year to year. Even as I recall now to write, those ghastly Ds and Fs want to linger in the annals of my mind. And to add, I read yearbook messages from classmates that were telltale signs of my poor choices -- fun, parties and boys. I'm shocked that in the Sophomore yearbook I found a pen drawing of a marijuana leaf by her picture. Her will remain anonymous. Side note, this was an all-girl Catholic school. Moving forward, a few first-year college semester grades were unfavorable as well.

The enemy's plans are stacked against me, but only if I have a narrow view, and let what was printed and recorded in my past be the end for me or what matters most. If I did, I could be spiraling down to an abyss of self-pity and what ifs. But God. He has given me comfort in His word that perfection is not what He seeks from me. Only that I pick up my cross, follow Him and be willing to grow. There are so many faithful men and women of God in the Holy Bible that had issues, made mistakes, had a few missteps and still God used them to further His Kingdom.

The struggle is real when I look back over my past in detail, and in the continuation of life to compare and gauge progress thus far. Yet, in it I intentionally search for joy because otherwise I would be swallowed up by disappointment and discouragement. And with joy, I have a tangible hope as I am in the midst of a writing project to share my personal journey.

If you're struggling here's encouragement through scripture:

Keep me [in Your affectionate care, protect me] as the [a]apple of Your eye; Hide me in the [protective] shadow of Your wings.
Psalm 17:8

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28

If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11

Prophesy & Pray

Derron E. Short writes on Twitter:
I wanted to grow up and be a ninja but #God wanted me to grow up in the spirit and teach His word...His plan is better!

My reply on Twitter:
I wanted to grow up and be an airline stewardess, but God...He chose me to prophesy and pray.

God has been faithful in increasing prophecies and prayer concerning the ministry He has entrusted to me, and how humble I am to witness His handiwork in the earth. I have no legacy to lay claim to. I have no Christian roots that are steeped in Bible study or prayer warriors in my family tree, that I know of. Yet, God chose me in my mother's womb to be His, and to be set apart to labor in His Kingdom.

I heard in the depth of my spirit recently, "I was created in my mother's womb, a prophetess unto the nations to speak and set the captive free." This is not unfamiliar nor is it baffling as I know this from the bible, but why was I reciting it over myself repeatedly just before bedtime? Though my heart and head couldn't agree I did it anyway, as the Spirit gave me utterance. I realize I was decreeing a thing in the spirit through prayer, and thereby, giving way to the manifestation in the natural. Time will eventually catch up with truth. Amen!

"For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ." Galatians 1:12

Here are two unrehearsed unscripted voice recordings from this year (2016):

You Stand With An ARMY of ONE January 22
GOD Was There ALL ALONG May 6

More has been added check here.

On April 15, God's spirit poured out His heart concerning pastors that I wasn't as eager to share, until now, but still with some reluctance because of unforeseeable backlash from Christians or perhaps pastors. The seven sentences are power-packed and have a clear message for those pastoring in the shadows of sin in idolatry and perhaps a warning for others. Like the Bible, we must heed the Father's instructions through prophesy when He speaks to us.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Word of the Lord came to me (Rosemarie), "Pastors have leveraged my name into every arena to make a profit. They have forgotten how they started and the condition of their heart with purity for ministry. They are far from me. I'm ashamed in how they are pilfering in the name of the Gospel for gain of money, wealth and prestige. It makes me angry that they continue when my people are without and yet they have plenty. I am coming back with a vengeance because of what they have stolen from me. I am a God of justice."

Ezekiel 34:1-10 Prophecy against the Shepherds of Israel

“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to them, the [spiritual] shepherds, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Woe (judgment is coming) to the [spiritual] shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock? Ezekiel 34:2

Like those who walked before me on the ancient paths I am reminded of Jonah. I must be careful with the treasures of revelation for others or about others. It's a struggle not to judge or criticize, which may sway my reason to find compassion and see the possibility of second chances when it looks bleak. On the other hand, I can't run from God or His presence either with a chance to get swallowed up in who knows what to find that my allegiance is to Christ and Christ alone. And when the going gets tough I must not easily give up with statements that request my end.

Giving encouragement and God's Word that is life-giving come easy to me as the Spirit stirs my heart in prayer. However, the prophetic I have found has a weighty cost. It's a solo gig for God, and for the most part the supporters are few and far between. More recently, the bemoaning of others towards me was surprising. In spite of that, I discovered that God put His super on my natural ability and I had become thick-skinned. Instead of internalizing and adding to other life disappointments I am able to disconnect, pray and move on unscathed.

If you're asking yourself if I am cursed or blessed the answer is not that simple. I consider the gift of the prophetic a gift, and whether I receive gifts from the Father at birth or along the way on my faith journey I am to nurture and guard them. I am to consider the cost, but realize the One whom I serve is able to give me all sufficiency in all I am called and chosen to be and do. I believe that I am blessed for the opportunity to labor in what He's building and to find that which He is seeking. It's my heart's desire to serve and love Him, and in all of this I am BLESSED!

Jeremiah 17:5-8

Thus says the Lord:

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Search Me, O God

A young gentleman at the gas station counter had trouble with his card for a purchase of sandwich and snacks. I quickly stepped up, “Is he short? I got this.” The transaction was successful. He was thankful and added, “You know you don’t have to do that?” I wanted to, and how my heart yearns to do more giving when God brings it to me—for I am merely a conduit to distribute as He wills.

Pardon me while I delve into something darker and leave the warm and fuzzy behind. It’s time for truth telling—transparency. When I left the gas station something was off. Did I miss it? Was there an underlying error? The conviction of the Holy Spirit became very obvious with a “yucky” feeling.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.”
Psalm 139:23-24

What came to mind was that I didn’t get any noteworthy “thanks” and it could have been a trigger. Was this giving in the flesh? Was it a test? I proclaimed that I shall receive no reward for any good thing done—it’s all for the glory of God. I prayed and asked God to uphold me with His right hand.

The Truth that lives on the inside of me reveals God’s Word and character, and uncovers and exposes the purest parts as well as my devilish nature. I am humbled to know that I still need Him. I haven’t arrived. I’m still a work in progress, and sinful.

During my study time late the same evening I found this:

“Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10

Life Application Study Bible: God is with us. God has established a relationship with us. God gives us assurance of his strength, help, and victory over sin and death.

Some may think it a nuisance to have your knower always in check, but for me it’s a connection to the Father that keeps me on the right path, and of course humble.

Growing in Faith

A few weeks ago, before closing my eyes to drift off in sweet sleep, I prayed aloud with my arms stretched out and my hands cupped together. My humble prayer was expressed not only in words, but in actions as well. “God, give me every fruit to fulfill the call in my life. I ask for Faith, Grace, Forgiveness, Mercy and Love.”

If there were any other attributes missed above I rest knowing God made note of it that night because it was the Spirit who gave me the unction to pray and the spoken words. For it was the will of God. As it is written in Romans 8:26-27, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

In 2005 I wrote, "Growing in the Lord is an often painful process, but well worth it because I find that the more I decrease, in every way, the more He increases. Thereby, giving Him full reign and trusting Him wholly with it all. “

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23

Yes, I am still growing, and with God’s strength I will endure changed and charged for the work ahead. As ministers in the Gospel of Christ we cannot expect to be immune to the hand of God. When He is ready to move and love us to the next level we must lay down our agenda and desires for the will of the Father.

In my current read, The Perils of a Pastor’s Wife, by Nan Jones God is affirming and guiding. This book is not solely for the Pastor’s wife, but for the called and chosen who need encouragement for their journey. God is speaking through each chapter, and how thankful I am for this on-time testimony brimming with God’s Word and Spirit leaving a permanent mark inwardly.

God is not remiss to gather what we have within arm’s reach to help us attain higher heights in Him. For me, it happens to be this book along with scriptures, and my personal testimony to God’s faithfulness on the best of days and through painful situations, which is working in me a far greater glory. Why? God is committed to my success. He will not leave me like this! Preparation is key to reaping a Harvest in the way God sees fit with my unique story and circumstances, and I stand on the truth proclaimed in recent years, “I’m going somewhere in God!”

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:17

Believer, be encouraged, when God’s promptings settle upon you like the dew fall—respond and pray, and in obedience be willing to give all. I promise the cost will be worth it!

Rosemarie is an ordained Minister of the Gospel since 2012. She is an active member of a church of Pastors and Ministers.  In 2015, she held Bible Study for sixteen weeks in her home with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and every teaching was a fresh and now Word for the hearer. Signs and wonders were evident as they held no agenda and were hungry for answers. In February 2016, a new phase of Ministry at Work with #FaithHopeCourage wristbands and message. Her heart to share the treasures found in relationship with Jesus continues.

Calm the Storm

Sometimes the storm is raging in the atmosphere or in your home. Maybe the storm is in your checkbook or on the medical chart, but whatever and wherever it is, give it to God and rest in His ability. Rest in His ability to get it done and work it out. Be sure not to give instructions or perhaps even preferences on how and why. He’s the Master and we are to trust God no matter what!

Early this year God spoke to me for 2016 with that very phrase, and yesterday I had to lean into that truth as a storm raged within. I had outside circumstances that sent me into a thought pattern of distraught what ifs. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit rescued me, again. The still small voice was faint and clear, “I will calm the storm.” Can you believe that’s all it took?! Believe it. I was as peaceful as a baby in her mother’s arm with my soul (mind, will and emotions) at rest in His ability.

I’m not sure what you’re facing in this hour though I know that our God is enough. He has everything you need to get through. Don’t let the devil beat you up. Put a smile on your face because you have a blessing to share. Look up my brother and sister! God is working it out, and through the process you’ll grow in faith and wisdom.

As a minister, I pray over you Colossians 1:9-12. “…that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”

Faith Hope Courage

It's time to put feet to the message in my heart that's been burning since early February.

Faith   Hope   Courage

A message of hope to those afflicted with sickness, facing trials, or in the chasm of despair.

What excitement awaits in sharing His love and faithfulness with #FaithHopeCourage.

Ephesians 4:12 "...for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ..."

Praise Him!

Sharing worship and prophecy -- the fruit -- from my morning time of intimacy and communion with the Lord. May it bless you on your journey of faith. Believe, and trust God no matter what!

Praise Him!
Praise Him!
For the Lord stands high upon the hills with outstretched arms.
Won’t He do all He said He would do?!
Come all who are weary and burdened. He will give you rest.
He is not upon the lowest of hills, but upon the highest!
Praise Him!
Praise Him in the temple!
 Praise Him in the streets!
Praise Him in the market!
Praise His Holy Name!

Love God. Love People.

“Don’t be discouraged Believer by what means God uses your purpose or where.” – Rosemarie

My pulpit can often be a grocery cart with my purse nestled in the child’s seat. I roam the familiar counters where I meet and greet others in the name of the Lord, even when I don’t utter a word. However, some days are more exceptional than others in the marketplace.

I adore the uniqueness of her voice with an infectious laugh. She is always busy in and around the bakery department with a netted silver bun. Recently we made a connection, and so God was faithful to build on that again. She was speaking of dreams and with an open door I spoke into her life. As the conversation progressed she divulged her past, and when the words left her mouth her heart was troubled. Would it make a difference in how I perceived her going forward.  She relayed this to me, and with compassion I shared as long as you don’t see me differently when I stumble or fall. We both smiled, and I could almost hear heaven rejoicing as I uttered, “Oh no, I see you much better now.” It’s better because her vulnerability gave way to mine, all the while being Jesus in the grocery store with grace and truth. It was a win-win as time stood still to love thy neighbor with two fresh wheat rolls in my hand!

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’ The whole Law and the [writings of the] Prophets depend on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40Amplified Bible (AMP)

She waits on me at the deli counter, and on occasion we share more than the usual exchange of deli meats and weights. This week I wanted to bless her grandson with a gently used scooter that was my daughter’s once favorite. It was gathering dust in the garage as I waited patiently to send it off to a good home with a child who would enjoy it. Goodwill drop-offs are great; however, this kind of giving makes room for a personal connection and the building of perhaps something greater. We never know how an Act of Kindness is received beyond meeting a need or blessing others. Love God. Love People. There’s no getting around that—one flows into the other. If we’re in love with God we are susceptible to love people.

As I waited patiently for the deli lady in my car with Christian tunes on the radio I was observing a couple near retirement age. It was a sweet coming together -- her after a grocery run and he from the neighboring dentist. They exchanged on what seemed to be an update on his visit as he motioned towards his mouth with hand gestures. As they continued, I said aloud to myself, “I just want to draw a heart around them.” In hindsight, if only I would have taken a picture, but then again it would have distracted me from the moment. She was intently listening until he had finished. Then it was her turn, and he listened well too. I gazed with wonderment, “This is what loves looks like!” Being who I am I couldn’t keep that to myself. I quickly rolled down my window, “You two are just darling. How long have you been married?” She was quick to answer, “38 years,” while I sensed he was more cautious at the strange woman admiring them. I get it. The world is getting weirder by the minute, and so innocent mentions can be reluctantly received. Even so, I blessed her as she walked away hand-in-hand with her husband.

For those of you who are in a difficult place in your relationship, or not quite satisfied with the level of lavishing you receive on Valentine’s Day, holidays, anniversaries, or even on ordinary days, I want you to be encouraged. Movies, television or romance books are fantasy. They offer some likeness to our reality, but very small considering the tainted truth portrayed, which can easily become an expectation. Stop comparing your love relationship with fantasy and read the Word. What does it say? How is love exchanged and received there? How does love respond even without flowers or diamond rings?

Believer, don’t get caught up in the hype of what is in cinema and literature. Be content, and ask God to give you a desire to want what you already have. It is possible. All things are possible! For He who is the Giver of Life can restore and rebuild old ruins to palaces of luxury within our hearts.  Give that ol’ devil notice! Love God. Love People.

Giving God all the glory for working through me in power with demonstration of love!

There Is No Hiding Place

"What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!" Romans 6:15

Saints, God is still speaking.

Like Israel we have failed, plundered the blessings of God on worldly desires, given into temptation, and brought self higher than the seat of Christ in our hearts and minds. We have forsaken Him and sought after treasures in land and sea, and even in the universe wanting to expand our knowledge and to increase our financial portfolio. Yet, it will all be in vain—as a nation and as a people. Only what we do for Christ will last. The mortar we purchased for buildings and the labor to build it, will all be in vain. Only what we do for the glory of God will multiply and remain. All else will decay from the wickedness it was cradled in at birth. Every vision, dream and goal that came out of wickedness -- greed, lust, and self-gain -- will utterly come to naught.

But if that be the case, is there hope for us? Yes! God is demanding obedience in all things. These are the times where your allegiance is made plain. Will it be for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who keeps covenant with His people of obedience or will it be the false gods of this world -- self, wealth and accomplishments.

This Should Be Our Prayer:
Father God, I surrender everything to you—all I am and ever hope to be. You are the author and finisher of my faith, and I thank you that there is nothing done that hasn’t already been done. You are sovereign and nothing escapes your view. Even when I try to hide myself from you because of shame and sin I find there is no hiding place. Your eyes are upon me at all times. I give up the chase and the treasure-hunting for worldly things, and I accept my lot as you have portioned for me, which took place before the foundation of the world. I know in my heart that what you have for me is no small thing, but help me Lord to give up the attraction of a false sense of security concerning this world. I cling to the promise of eternity while I wait on the promises you have especially for me in this land of the living. I surrender my plan in exchange for yours. Give me the revelations that will charge my thinking and change my direction. I thank you Lord for a mighty move of your Holy Spirit in my life in accomplishing all that was written for me. I thank you Lord that your answers today for me are, “Yes and Amen!” In Jesus’ name I pray!

Malachi 3:5-7 And I will come near you for judgment;
I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers,
Against adulterers,
Against perjurers,
Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans,
And against those who turn away an alien—
Because they do not fear Me,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

“For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Yet from the days of your fathers
You have gone away from My ordinances
And have not kept them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
“But you said,
‘In what way shall we return?’

From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of God Romans 6:15-23 "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Trust God No Matter What!

God is still speaking. Not only in the early morning, but throughout the day, and I am strengthened in His presence. The Spirit of God is revealing with clarity as to why obedience is necessary in the year of 2016 for every Believer, not just a few. I urge you to take notes, for obedience is not to gain status, acquire more assets or to attain a leadership role. No, it’s a time of preparation and to uncover who you really trust. Are you trusting in yourself, spouse, or parent? Are you trusting in your weekly paycheck? Are your hopes hinging on the next political race or presidential campaign?

Last year God drew me closer to Himself as I began my home Bible Study “Renewal” to feed others, and since then I have become more peculiar in forsaking worldly desires. Yet, my desire to know Him more has increased with each revelation and move of the Holy Spirit. Likened to healthy and rewarding relationships, I look forward to spending more time with Him. For in His presence my soul is satisfied, even my body, right down to the marrow of my bones, which is far more desirable than His presents (blessings).

Are you seeking gifts or the Giver? Are you seeking blessings or the Blessor?

Where is your faith, and who will you trust if your presidential candidate doesn’t win? When the government fails you? When your lawyer misrepresents you? When you don’t get the job? When your house is foreclosed? When the retirement is no longer viable or the stock market crashes? When your marriage is crumbling? When your kids are in rebellion? These are not questions to provoke fear Church, but to give you a good poke as the Good Shepherd would to stir up your faith, no matter how strong or weak. Remember, we need only faith as little as a mustard seed to move mountains. Will you trust in chariots and horses or will you trust in the Lord?

Often God speaks in one sentence, but then again sometimes He puts it together like a puzzle—and I have the privilege of placing each piece together until the revelation is evident.

Late Sunday evening while studying, I was compelled to rest my head on my open bible like a pillow and weep. Then I zealously clutched it close to my chest. My heart cry was apparent— in this hour/season I'll need more of His presence and His Word. It also fortifies my stance that I cannot be persuaded to move from here.

"He who abides in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1

If you’re in the secret sacred place with God remain there. If you’re finding your way there please hurry as 2016 is not a year for just getting by and being saved. You need victory! Victory in every area and over ever demon and devil in your life! You need the Holy Spirit! You need daily fellowship with the One True God. This is a time to seek God while He may be found.

Life Application Study Bible: Psalm 20:7 is a psalm of David – a prayer for victory in battle. Such a prayer can help us prepare for any great challenge. David knew that trust should be placed in the Lord more than in human power. As long as there have been armies and weapons, nations have boasted of their power, but such power does not last. Throughout history, empires and kingdoms have risen to great power only to vanish in the dust. David knew that the true might of his nation was not in weaponry but in worship; not in firepower but in God’s power. Because God alone can preserve a nation or an individual, be sure your confidence is in God, who gives eternal victory. Whom do you trust?

We who have been washed in the blood have suffered under the wickedness of darkness and the strategy of the devil for far too long. It’s time to stand for the Lord! Get ready to disengage and disarm the enemy. Prepare for spiritual warfare! As it’s said, “It’s on!”

Though the world gets darker, we the remnant of Christ will become brighter entering our finest hour for Him as we labor in the Kingdom of God. Be counted Christian! Be obedient to the Lord and victory will be yours!

I speak not as myself, but from the office in which I am called to minister, and to offer you a better way with an expected end in an hour of need when the world offers only countless dead ends.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13
